I hear phrases like “killing it” all the time and either silently or out loud, replace these monikers with something inspiring whilst bold.
I hear phrases like “killing it” all the time and either silently or out loud, replace these monikers with something inspiring whilst bold.
Do we really need to use such militant, aggressive language in business?
Language decidedly informs the way that we interact and think about our relationships to one another.
In modern business and social media speak, to kill something is to do something so well, you kill off the competition. Doesn’t that sound like a monopoly? Do we really want to monopolize business or the way we speak in such a way that mimics murder or the death of something?

Plan of attack —
Explosive in the marketplace —
Deploy all personnel —
A shot in the dark —
Let’s dominate the market —
We need to forge an alliance —

Maintain a position of power —
